Most of us are juggling many balls at once, between family, marriage and work. But do we feel bad about that... or secretly proud? I found this article from Women's Health magazine really interesting. And I have to admit, sometimes when I say, "I'm so stressed" I do feel somewhat proud, as if my ability to stretch myself thin makes me a better person (that sounds more arrogant than I mean it to, but hopefully people know what I mean). I love this article's suggestion that we talk more about what we can do to take care of ourselves, to slow down and give ourselves breaks. Next time a friend starts talking about her stress level, I will sympathize of course -- but also turn the conversation toward what we are doing to keep that stress from being non-stop. Sometimes it's inevitable, but maybe sometimes it's not. What do others think?
