DIY Magnet Board
Have you seen the cute DIY magnet board that has been really popular on Pinterest? The original post was by a Blogger on the site Nic and Kate. I thought it would be a great addition to my son's play room especially since he has found a renewed interest in his Leapfrog Phonics set.
This is a really simple project. All you need is an oil drip pan, a few screws to mount it to the wall, and some magnets to play with. I found our drip pan at Wal Mart in the automotive section near the oil. I can't remember the exact cost but know it was only around $12. My handyman husband screwed the oil drip pan directly into the wall using a power drill. If you are concerned about holes in the wall you could always use something like command strips to mount the board. Add your favorite magnets and enjoy! Super simple and cute! What more could you ask for? :)
