What if your child's teacher started "www.burnandrotinhell.com"

in

The web site http://www.burnandrotinhell.com/ is not so unusual -- it allows people to rant about things that have gone wrong or other people who have done them wrong. The Virginian-Pilot even has a small column it runs weekly following the same sort of idea. No biggie.

So what is the problem with this site? Well, besides the language that is allowed on it and its name, there's the fact that it was started by a Catholic school teacher. Personally, I don't expect anyone of any religion to be perfect or refrain from judging others -- BUT that sort of is what the Catholic religion wants you to do, or at least that's the message I got from all those years in church and Sunday school.  And, yes, she's a teacher. We tend to want our teachers to be prim and proper.

Are we fairly holding her to a higher standard (she's at risk of losing her job now that the word's out) , because of her religion and profession? Or are we hypocrites?
