Zoodles Children's App

I stumbled upon the Zoodles app by accident while searching for something for my 4yr old to play other than Angry Birds. I have an Android phone and found it in the Google Store. It is also available on other devices, tablets, computers, and I Phones.

Zoodles calls itself "a safe kid mode for every device" but its also so much more. I love the fact that it locks my son out of all other phone operations. It means I can feel safe letting him play on my phone knowing now that he can no longer make phone calls or rearrange and delete my icons.

When you set up a Zoodles account you input your child's age and it loads age appropriate videos, games, and stories. Brody loves playing games like Team Umi Zoomi, painting, and watching Cailou. You can also make a video of yourself or a family member reading a story for your child to watch. It would be a great way to stay connected with family and friends who live far away.

We are currently using the free mode but I am considering upgrading to premium version. It's not terribly expensive at $4.95/month, $24.95/6months, or $39.95/12months.

There are so many great things I could say about this app! But I encourage you to download it for yourself and try it out. I have had so many parents/adults see my 4yr old sitting and playing so quietly with this app and ask what it is.
