Girl Scout New Member Event, Norfolk

Nov 29, 2012 - 5:00 pm to Nov 29, 2012 - 7:00 pm

The Girl Scout Council of Colonial Coast is hosting a new member event near you!

This is a chance to have fun, meet new friends and find out about the world’s largest all-girl serving organization dedicated to meeting the unique needs of girls.

New member events give girls and adults a brief introduction to Girl Scouts and help interested individuals register for Girl Scouts. Girls can choose any number of ways to be involved with Girl Scouts through Pathways, which include troops, camp, events, series, travel and virtual.

Adults can also become involved with Girl Scout in a number of ways. They can become troop leaders, service unit volunteers, first-aid trainers, or assume a variety of short-term positions. The flexibility of Pathways allows adults to participate based on their lifestyle and availability. Everyone has more choices and more reasons to join and get involved with Girl Scouts!
