Reproductive Health 101 for Parents

Feb 17, 2010 - 6:00 pm to Feb 17, 2010 - 8:00 pm

This is a FREE class for parents to learn everything they need to know about reproductive health and how to share it with their children. Kids are bombarded with myths about sex in the media, at school, on TV and on the Internet. This is an opportunity for parents to learn the correct information, dispel the myths, and teach their children how to be safe. Most kids wants to talk with their parents about these issues!

This year there will be 800,000 teen pregnancies in the United States. More than 3 million teens have at least one STI. Evidence shows that almost 50% of kids have sex before they ever talk with their parents about STIs or birth control. Come to our class and learn how to communicate the medically-accurate information to your kids to ensure they don't become one of the above statistics!
