The Acts Movement: A Call to Prayer

The Acts Movement is a prayer group established to encourage parents as they face the many facets of parenthood. Being a mom of five children myself, I faced new frustrations at each level of my children's growth. In elementary school, children pick favorites, they tease those who are different and can really lower self-esteem. Middle school brings bullying and sometimes isolation, and then high school there's peer pressure from boys and girls. Parents have to pray for and with their children daily. Many teens are in a state of depression and commiting suicide. So as a prayer counselor, I have chosen to make myself available to pray with parents and children.
