Airforce moms support group

I am a mom of a son who entered the Air Force a month ago. I realize after talking to another local mom who's son left a week after my boy that the pain and pride we are feeling is natural. However, I realized at that moment I wasn't alone feeling like this so there had to be so many other mothers out there needing to talk to someone that is going through this trying time. To feel the same emotions because you are living with the same seperation anxiety, empty nest feeling or feel your world has turned upside down and you don't know when it's gonna be right again. It's nice to have friends and family to talk to, but to talk to another mom going through the same thing is so soothing. That is why I am starting this support group. I hope we can all reach out together and help one another get through what should be a proud and happy moment and find a way to cope through the challanging times.
