Seizure Disorder Support Group @ First Baptist Church of Norfolk
Seizures can take multiple forms, but all of its manifestations are disruptive to the lifestyle of a typical teenager. Many normal activities become problematic, because of concern that a seizure could occur and cause injury. Tension arises between teens and their parents as they evaluate these risks. Side effects of treatment can be exasperating or even alarming. A teen may not know anyone else with this condition, and feel alone in the struggle. We are not alone, and we will seek to encourage one another as we work through these challenges. The group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month in room 308.
